Kobe Beef Flank Steak, 12-16 oz There is nothing in the world for tenderness like Wagyu beef. It is the famous breed of steer used to produce the reknowned Kobe Beef and is fast becoming the gold standard for truly tender, flavorful beef. Our Domestic Wagyu is extremely tender, well marbled and extra flavorful because it is raised free-range, on grass and whole grains without antibiotics, hormones or animal by-products. The flank steak -- or 'bavette' as it is called in France --is cut from the the belly muscles of the animal and provides great juicy taste at a relatively economical price. We recommend that you use the French practice of searing this over high heat quickly for a very short time. Serve rare to preserve the juicy quality of the meat. |
