Jack Link's Beef Jerky, Peppered, 3.65-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) Well, for starters I'm not from USA, so i have other tastes, nevermind that, the beef jerky fame is big and i wanted to try it, around were I live we have a similar (hand made and traditional) product, which is delicious. <br />So i figured out that I couldn't be wrong by choosing the best brand available in a seemly good variation (peppered). <br />*Boy I was wrong* <br />I simply don't dig the flavor, the texture is so so (mostly it feels like plastic dried syrup), and definitely I don't like the glassy look of it ("My" version looks like straight up dry meat *should look*) <br />Well, still I'm going to suck up to it and eat all the jerky. <br />At least i have hope that it somehow is an acquired taste. Reader Reviews I buy this stuff in bulk and eat it like candy. It is so good. Its also relatively healthy so instead of chomping on a pack of double stuffed peanut butter Oreos, you can grab a bag of this. However, I am warning you; this beef jerky is not for everyone. This is really only suited for people who enjoy tender, delicious, hearty servings of high quality beef. If that doesn't sound like something you would enjoy, I suggest you look elsewhere, maybe some Oh, Boy Oberto. |
