Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Whole Grain Bread Mix 20 oz Moist, delicious and bursting with whole grains and seeds. The flavor and texture are complex and deeply satisfying. Specially designed for those sensitive to wheat or gluten, this mix contains: whole grain buckwheat, garbanzo bean flour, potato starch, cornstarch, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, whole grain sorghum flour, tapioca flour, cocoa powder, evaporated cane juice, fava bean flour, molasses powder, xanthan gum, caraway seeds, active dry yeast, sea salt, whole grain teff, potato flour, onion powder, guar gum and soy lecithin. For bread machine or by hand, this mix makes 1- 1/2 lb loaf. 20 oz size. Reader Reviews I'm baffled; I've tried B's R M GF brownie mix, which is fantastic. This toxic waste only gets 1 star b/c I can't give it a negative number of them. We put the mix in the breadmaker last night, looking forward to waking up to something resembling fresh bread. We woke up to something that smelled like a meltdown at a chemical plant. It's indescribable. Feeling very brave (or incredibly stupid), we tried a bit of the stuff. Tragically, it tastes like it smells; I literally had to spit it in the sink and gulp OJ to kill the nauseating taste in my mouth. I've never run across anything like it, & the stench continues to haunt my sinues. I flung it out the back door but fear there's going to be a sudden reduction in the deer, squirrel, & wild turkey population. I do NOT understand how 1 person can find it edible (much less good!), my b.f. & I found it too vile to breathe near. I got a defective mix...? Tainted with Lord knows what??? |
