Aidells Mango Sausage, 13 ounces Mangoes are my favorite tropical fruit. Whenever I visit Hawaii or Mexico where these luscious orange-fleshed wonders ripen, I eat them at breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a memorable Hawaiian lunch of chicken breasts grilled over kaiwe wood and garnished with fresh mangoes and lime, I came up with the idea of combining chicken and mangoes in a new sausage. In my Chicken & Mango Sausage, tender chunks of succulent chicken are a perfect match with pieces of ripe mangoes blended with tropical spices and herbs. The sausages are similar to my popular Chicken & Apple Sausages, but with a lightly exotic undertone and tropical fruit aroma from the mangoes and spices. |
